“My Story, Her Healing”

Latashau Lovejoy is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, deeply committed to seeing people healed, delivered, and set free from the things that have held them captive for years. With a heart for restoration, she believes in the power of God to break chains and bring true transformation to those who seek Him.

Married for 18 years, Latashau is the proud mother of two adult children and the joyful grandmother (Gigi) to four grandchildren. Family is her greatest treasure, second only to her love and devotion to Christ.

Since giving her life to Christ over 18 years ago, Latashau has been passionate about encouraging others through the ministry of writing. She is the author of Turning Emotions into Devotion and My Story, Her Healing, books that reflect her personal journey and the power of healing through faith.

In addition to her writing, Latashau is an active Evangelist, Pastor, Motivational Speaker, and Entrepreneur. As the founder and CEO of Testimonial Teez by Tasha, she uses her business to inspire others through faith-based apparel while also helping to fund the vision of My Story Her Healing Ministry. Whether in ministry or in business, she is committed to delivering the message of salvation through Jesus Christ and inspiring others to experience the love, hope, and freedom that comes with His grace.

HER STORY

After 43 years of hiding the fear, shame, unforgiveness, and blame caused by the trauma of molestation, verbal, and physical abuse, I made the conscious decision to begin my journey of healing. For decades, I buried the pain deep within, but I’ve come to realize that true healing only begins when a woman acknowledges the hurt she’s endured. It’s often said that “Pain has a Purpose,” and I now understand that my pain wasn’t meaningless—it became a catalyst for transformation and renewal.

I now know that healing is not just a personal journey—it is a spiritual one, and it is Jesus Christ who is the ultimate source of true restoration. In Luke 13:10-17, Jesus encounters a woman who had been bent over by a spirit of infirmity for 18 years. With compassion, He calls her to Himself and says, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” In that moment, He didn’t just heal her physically; He set her free from the burdens she had carried for years. This powerful act reminds me that no matter how long we’ve suffered or how deep the wounds go, Jesus is always ready to heal, restore, and set us free.

Just as Jesus healed the woman in the synagogue, He is the same healer for me and for every woman who has experienced deep hurt. It’s through His love and grace that I found the strength to face the trauma and begin my journey of healing. I share my story not as a plea for sympathy, but as a testament to the power of God’s healing in my life. I believe that when one woman heals through His grace, it opens the door for another to begin her own healing journey.

I share my story in the hope that it will inspire another woman to seek Jesus as the ultimate source of healing and to find the courage to walk in freedom, just as He has called us to do.
